Stabilizing

My WH 23MRB is a bit shaky even with the scissors down so when I am set up for a long stay I jack up the axels and put 4 jack stands under the axels to take some of the weight off the suspension and stiffen it a bit. My question is whether this is hard on the axels or other suspension parts.

The way you have it configured you are taking weight off the tires a bit but not off the suspension. The suspension is still supporting the weight of the trailer.

I think you would get a better benefit putting those pyramid jacks directly under the frame. I have the same jacks and use them under the frame on occasion.

There is a thread here for homemade stabilizer jacks that get really good reviews. I am going to try that out next summer as the pyramid jacks didn't stabilize the trailer as much as I was expecting.

My understanding is that can damage your axles. I have torsion axles so I can't put anything under mine.

Some folks have solved the problem with X-Chocks

GScott is right. Put the jacks under the frame and you'll be in business.

The problem is I have the Glacier package and can't see the frame because of the "skin"

Your frame is visible. Even in your picture, I can see the 'skin' of the glacier package, and right there in the corner of your picture there is a flat square section of frame showing.

I know I have access to utilize jack stands with my WH with the glacier package.

Thanks! As I am sitting here looking at my trailer I see what you are talking about. I will move the jacks to the frame!
