Step width

I have a 2012 Jayco Jayflight 29RLDS, it's at the dealers now waiting for a replacement pantry door that was warped. Anyway, my wife wants to go to camping world and buy some of those carpet step covers for the steps. So I need someone to measure the width of the steps so I know how wide of covers to get. The front and back steps are different sizes. Any help would be appreciated.

On our 320RLDS even though the two doors are quite different, the treads on both are 24".

We have had several TTs of different sizes and our current 5er over the years, and all the steps were a standard 24". We have bought quite a few of the step carpets, and to the best of my knowledge, all were 18" wide. I have never seen any of a different width. Don't know how much Camping World wants for theirs, but Walmart sells them for around $8 each.

Another option is to go to a carpet store and buy a small piece of left over carpet. Cut it to the size you need and zip tie it to the stairs. They will mold to the shape of the step in a few weeks and look just like the $$$$ ones.

Thank you for that, there is a WalMart just down the street from me, about 30 miles closer that Camping World. I will check it out.
Camping World's latest book has several sizes listed, 18, 20, 22 and 23 inches.
