Storage issues (winter )

noticed an odd problem with our 2016 jayflight 26bh. normally I would prop the fridge doors open when parked for a while out of use but the mini fridge cannot since the side door holds it shut when locked??
anyone else notice this? am I missing something? advice needed

My Eagle HT is the same and I have wondered about it but I don't have an answer yet because I haven't left it for a period of time yet while not plugged in. I am curious what answers that are posted here so I can get ideas too.

Interesting. After cleaning, and drying, place a few charcoal briquettes in the frig, this will help absorb any orders.

Just a thought but is it possible to remove the door for extended storage? And store it inside.

I just use a small piece of styrofoam pool noodle to block the fridge door open and this clears the storage slam door. When we travel, I use the same piece between the outside of the fridge door and the slam door to keep the fridge door closed.
