storagre compartment locks

My 2012 29RLDS has storage doors up front with a key lock and a thumb latch. I want to change it to all locks, any idea where I can purchase these locks? And I guess there are more then 1 size, what size are they?
Thanks in advance
Joe

Howdy, I would just call the folks at Bauer. Suspect they know more about locks than most.

There are a few threads about this posted previously however they are a little confusing so I called a locksmith friend of mine and this is what he said: " The doors can be keyed alike however the ch751 can not be keyed to the doors. Now that defeats my entire purpose of getting all the locks keyed the same and having one key.

On our trailer I took one of the key locks out, and made sure that all the key locks were the same size. Then went down to ACE hardware and bought the number I needed. It worked out also that I lucked out cause the key was the same for all the locks. So I have 1 key for all my locks.

I just ordered new storage compartment locks from RVLocksAndMore | RV Locks | RV Keys | Fastec FIC Locks and Keys tonight that are keyed to my entrance door lock key. You just need to specify what the code is on your current door lock key and the length of the cylinder (instructions for measuring are on the site). The locks were 6.95 each including a key.

I sized mine by the above info mentioned and ordered combination locks. No need for a key, and not every CH751 key owner in the park can into my rig. I just picked a combination my DW and I can remember, and put them in. Handy item. Amazon and plenty of others sell them. They have black and silver, maybe more. Good luck!

Why oh why doesn't Jayco use matching keysets for TT's with two doors?

I had three sets. One for the door, one for the pass throughs, and another for the docking station and the storage bin under the bed slide.
