Stove Malfunction 2014 Jay-Flight-Swift-287BHBE

Just picked up 2 weeks ago and made our maiden voyage this w/e. The DW was using the front main burner for about 5 minutes when all of a sudden the flame went out of the burner and was coming thru the dial on the front of unit. Turned everything off and re lit the burner which immediately did the same thing..fire coming out front on thur the tome in front of dial. Any suggestions on what prob could be ??? Other than that lil prob this trailer ROCKS !!!!!
Prolly our only time out here in Ohio since time to winterize but had an awesome time in our new TT at Back40 Campground...Thanks John for all your help

I would see if you can flip the top up and see the connections between the knob and the burner.
Sounds like a slip connection may have a gap in it.
I think they're pretty much like your gas burner on a bar-b-que grill.

Thx Doug....will check it out...We were only using it that once and got in late last night and didn't want to fool with it then..Just wish we had bought this in the spring and had a whole season to camp
