I use the reese dual cam now. On my 2 previous TT's we used a friction type sway bar. I never removed the bar when I backed up and it did not hinder me in tight turns. Since switching to the reese I see a vast improvement. The reese helps prevent sway from starting verse the frictiontype helps to minimize sway once it has started.
While towing on I-95 coming back from Disney I had to do a quick lane change at 65mph because a tire flew off the bus ahead of me. My TT tracked perfectly behind my TV during this manuever because my dual cam was properly set up.
