I agree completely. I am not liking what I'm seeing... I prefer the look of the Eagle lineup... Just my opinion.

I don't understand why they don't want the interiors and exteriors to match; they certainly have not gone b&w with the interior of the White Hawk 23MRB (formerly 20MRB). I will be checking out the possibilities of a paint job!

I personally like the monochromatic look. It's a camping trailer not a show car, mine will be muddy and full of pine needles within the first trip. The simpler the better for me.

It sure would be helpful if Jayco would update their website before the new model year changes come out instead of several months after, so folks could get this new information there.

Agreed! The suspense is killing me! (only because I don't know exactly what I'm getting yet)

Us too. We e-mailed the factory to see if we could get/buy a swatch of the new fabric material, but haven't heard back yet. No idea whether they do that or not, but thought it was worth a try. We are also starting to check with auto body shops to see if there's a chance of getting the new trailer painted - well, parts of it - because we don't like the grey they seem to be using now.

I've never understood that either... Why isn't there a picture gallery for each and every floor plan so that customers can see what's offered? Jayco needs to realize that when people are searching for a new RV, the search begins on the internet.

Its been suggested here that the websites are not updated so the dealers can move out the prior model year stock. Not sure if that is the actual reason or not.....

I agree with this, it's the only thing that makes sense.

The factory said they'll send us an upholstery swatch (for the White Hawk 23MRB). We still need to see the exterior design.

I know the consensus is 25% - 30% general discounts most people shoot for when negotiating price on a new trailer.
On a 2015 model thats discontinued for 2016 would the expectation be more toward the 25% or less since there is a limited supply OR would it be closer to the 30% since the dealer may want to get rid of the old inventory?
The advertised sale price from my local dealer is at 20% and I'm trying to figure out how much more room there might be to negotiate.

I have been FB messaging with Jayco, and they say the reason they delay putting new models on the website is so they can ship some to dealers first, so dealers have some waiting when people see them online. They also told me that the time-frame the dealer gave us for our TT is pretty much right: in production in May, to the dealer in June. We are already excited and can hardly wait! If things go well, only two more trips in the current PUP!

Mjmaddox, 30% should be an easy number for them to reach. When we go to the open house and/or RV shows, that is the discount we usually see. We ordered a new RV a couple of years ago and I figured the same discount when working in the bottom line after our trade in. Don't be afraid to negotiate. The sales person will tell you all sorts of things to keep the price up if they think that is what they can get. My argument when ordering one was that they wouldn't have it sitting on the lot and would have no extra costs incurred.

Good luck!

Just got a sample of the "Twilight" upholstery - this is the one that comes with white leatherette, and the rest of the stuff in various darkish browns. It's prettier in person than it was on the dealer's computer screen. The "orange" is really more rust or russet.

Thanks Jim-n-Ash

I put a deposit down today on the 2015 20MRB.. This is the model being replaced for 2016. Jim-n-Ash, I can't thank you enough for starting this thread. My "plan" to purchase in the fall got escalated specifically due to this thread and the heads up about the model being discontinued. With limited availability for the options I wanted, I had to travel 8 hours to Little Rock, AR but got exactly what I wanted. Local dealer couldn't or wouldn't help me locate one with my preferred interior..

The people on this forum are wonderful. I'm sure I'll be starting more threads will all sorts of questions... Be prepared

Mjmaddox, glad to hear you found exactly what you wanted, and got it in time. Huzzah! This really is a great Forum.
