Thetford toilet leaking

Upon 1st couple of uses, there is a small stream of water along the floor seemingly coming from the base. Seems to dry up after day one ?

Check the valve or check the incoming water line, tighten down the mounting studs/nuts. Just had to replace the valve on mine

depends on if you have the hand flush or the foot pedal. Go onto Thetford's web site and you should find a breakdown parts print you just need to enter the model number of the toilet. Look in the rear of the toilet for a model number. Mine had the hand flush wasn't very hard to replace. From the sounds of your explanation it seems to only happen when you flush Therefore I would suspect the valve rather than a fitting on the supply line

In 2010 I was made aware that certain models of Thetford toilets had a bad valve.I too would find some water on the floor by the toilet.
We have a foot flush model and when I held the pedal down halfway a fine stream of water would spray out of the valve located on the backside of the toilet.
I contacted Thetford and gave them some information from the toilet and they sent me a replacement valve. Once the new valve was installed the issue was resolved.

My Thetford 31687 AM V foot toilet is a mystery!

In about a 4 day in a row period, being used regularly, usually about once per day, there will be a small amount (about a tablespoon) of water a few inches from the base along the side by the door entrance.

Any other ideas ??

if its not the valve or the water lines it could be the flange seal leaking

yes, I took the toilet off and flange (the foamy circle?) did not look like it was in the best of shape. Can that be purchased separately?

Don't know if it will help or not but check out this old thread. When I had a leaky toilet, I found the fix here, contacted Thetford and they sent me the parts for free. Took maybe 30 mins to remove the toilet, replace the valve and reassemble. Never had another problem with it after that.
