Those with a 324BHTS

Does anyone happen to have the measurement from the ground to the top of the coupler when the trailer sits level? I have this trailer on order, and I am trying to order a Blue Ox hitch for it, so I'm trying to figure out which shank I need.

Bump. Anyone? I have an email in to Jayco, but not sure if/when they will answer. Thanks.

May not help, but... Our 32 BHDS coupler height (bottom mount coupler) is about 21-1/2" if I remember right. Can double check when we get home from what I have written down. I had emailed Jayco asking the same thing and was told like 28", so the reply may not be very accurate! Lol

Oh boy that figures! Thanks a lot for taking the time for me. It would be nice to be able to have the hitch on hand before the trailer is at the dealers lot.

My guess is the height is about the same, but it would be nice to confirm with an owner of this model.

I also asked the Jayco rep if the 34' 2" listed on their website as the length was the length of the trailer, or the overall tongue-to-bumper dimension. She didn't reply to that, other than saying all dimensions are those that I listed above. Does anyone know what exactly these two dimensions represent?

Exterior/Travel length: 34' 2"
Exterior box size: 34' 7"

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

I did look at my notes from when I was readjusting the hitch and it is about 21-1/2" to the top of the coupler. Jayco stated 28" for our 32 BHDS.

I would probably estimate about 21-22", unless others post up. Is there a dealer somewhat close that has your 324 in stock for you to go look at?

When is the estimated delivery date?

Those with a 324BHTS

Unfortunately there are none at the dealers in my area, at least not that I could find. Jayco's response would be at the very high end of the rise of the SwayPro. If it's even a couple inches lower, I shouldn't need a special shank. I'm thinking I will be ok, but it would be nice to be sure before paying the $600.

I still have plenty of time, another 4-5 weeks before delivery.

Thanks again for your input!

Still seeing if anyone is able to answer these questions.

Does anyone know what exactly these two dimensions represent?

Exterior/Travel length: 34' 2"
Exterior box size: 34' 7"

What is the hitch height on the 324BHTS when the trailer is parallel to the ground?

Thanks,
Jason

Just seeing your post. We have this model, but it is parked at our seasonal site about 75 miles from home. I will get the measurements this weekend and get back with you Sunday evening.

I'm glad you posted the information Jayco sent you. We were told our queen bed would be 60x80, but my husband (who is 6'4") has been complaining that the bed is the short model. I've argued that he's looking for something to complain about, and just needs to make sure his head is at the tip top is the bed. I guess I'm going to have to appologize!

Yes I read and heard that it was a full size queen in this TT. I was surprised to see the dimensions. Lucky for me, both my wife and I are short, so it's no big deal for us.

Just an update:

Hitch ball height (optional 16" tires): 29 - 3/4"
This is pretty accurate. Such a ridiculously tall hitch height!

Exterior/Travel length: 34' 2"
Exterior box size: 34' 7"
I don't know exactly what these two figures represent, but the trailer itself is just over 34'. Tongue to bumper is just over 37'.
