Listen to SouthCo for he is wise in the ways purging air... wait that didn't sound right.
If you still have problems lighting it then try it manually. I've had to manually light my heater a couple of times. Open the outside access point. Go into the the trailer and turn on the hot water heater to gas, hurry outside and light the pilot with a long lighter at the indicated location. It should light right up.
If you still have problems with it not lighting call the dealer. Atwood has a 1 year warranty.
