Tire wearing on one side more

About 5,500 miles on it I use it for work pretty much fully time.. Lots of highway miles to different cities and or states....

In my experience that is fairly normal if the trailer isn't fully loaded. The axle has a camber on it which makes the tire tip to the outside slightly. When loaded the camber is reduced.

I guess that makes sense... That is the only tire out of four that's like that... My slide out is on the other side... The side that the photo is from is where my cabinets are at and counter and stove etc

Try replacing that one with the spare, and monitor it closely. If it starts wearing the same, I'd say it's an alignment problem. If it doesn't wear, bad tire.

Recommend you take it to a Truck Repair Shop that handles alignment and have the axle aligned. I have had to have mine aligned twice. The last time only cost me $125.00 for both axles. I had it done in Florence, SC. I have 5k miles since and have no irregular tie wear at this point. Lots of luck.

Rotate your tires. I moved two years ago and now I have one that wears more than the others. When I replaced my tires, the tire shop stated to rotate more often, which I never did in the past. They recommended rotations at least once a year. More often if I saw any uneven wear.

What's the name of your tire shop? I have always used discount tire for my truck and took the trailer there and they said it didn't need to be rotated on trailer tires because they all brake even unlike scar or truck... Granted I was out on the road and it wasn't my usual discount tire shop

Just a simple check....but I would check my lug nuts first. Its simple and free.

I normally use a M&P shop, but they have been doing me wrong during the last two visits. This time I went to the local Discount Tire shop. The guy at the counter was really good. The guy doing the work, not so much.

He stated, if you make the same sharp turn, backing in to the driveway, the tires will wear differently, due to the tire scub. I fully believe him, if you look at the scrub marks on driveway approach after I back in. I took some photos with my phone but I have not figures out how to upload them through the phone.

At our old house I parked on the street, I had very even wear. Move, to a place with a driveway, but a fairly sharp entrance, I always back in from the same direction, if the parked cars on the street will allow. I one year I wore down one tire big time, that tire had the most tire scrub.

Interesting... Only one out of 4 tires has the wear and it's not a lot giving the amount of miles... It's the first tire on the passenger side... I'm trying to figure out which way is have to turn to make it wear that way lol...

Also check for a loose wheel bearing.
