Towing 195RB SLX

We picked up our new trailer with our 2008 Ford Sport Trak 4.6L V8. We hauled the trailer from Golden CO, past Colorado Springs, and up the mountain to the Woodland Park area. We used an equalizer hitch. The truck was fine pulling the trailer. No wagging at all. We did less than 70 mph on the highway and about 50 puling the grade. I also have a dodge with a 5.2L if I decide I need more power.

Good, you never really know until you try to see if you're comfortable with how a vehicle drives with the trailer. I am using a 27' BH and towing with 2010 Toyota Tundra 4.6 v8 w/ tow. It does really well except I could have more torque - the multi-valve engine is more of a revver, but the brakes and frame are more than up to it. For our mild terrain here its fine, but I do see a lot of guys with diesels...they say they can't even tell the trailer is attached!
