We bought an Element brand at Cramping World and it did a great job over the winter.

I just pulled off our ADCO "Travel Trailer Designer Series Tyvek® Plus Wind RV Cover" after the second winter and it's still in great shape. I'm expecting to get at least another 2-3 years, if not more given the current wear on it.

I'm curious. If you get the coating put on that is supposedly 100% UV protection do you still need a cover?

I have a ADCO Designer Series cover on mine. It has wind vents built in.

I don't have any experience with the special coatings. The main reason I use a cover is to prevent the build up of leaves and pine needles on the roof and in the rain gutters over the late fall and winter months when we are not using it.

You get what you pay for.

Buy the best It will last longer. I also cover my tires. For the trailer the brand is ADCO "Travel Trailer Designer Series Tyvek.

X2 We just went thru our 2nd winter and it is looking good. We also cover the tires as well.
Protects the whole trailer by covering it like this.

Our dealer added some coating to the outside of ours which should prevent oxidation and protect the decals. Bottom line is it is your camper and the environmental conditions are different for everyone so it will depend. Maybe winter for you is taking a month or so off around the holidays. For me in MN I will still cover our camper in winter. But it is also not in use 5-6 months a year. During our 6-7 month camping season, it will not be covered.
