I have tried 3 different "universal" hitch locks for my trailer and none of them will fit. The ball socket on my trailer is deep and has a wide flange around the bottom lip. Two of them can barely accommodate the lip width but then won't lock. One would not fit over the lip. Is there a unique or special lock system for Jayco trailers? At this point I'm just going to fabricate something with a spare ball and some chain and a lock. I know very low risk that someone will drive off with a 30' trailer from the storage lot or from a camping space while we are out but would still like to have it locked.
Thanks. It even says for wide flange jayco trailers! Being big and red it will be obvious to anyone interested that it's likely best to move on and pick on another rig.

We have the Umax100 which is the same design and it's been good. Saying that we only use it at the storage facility in the off season but it's what they recommended.
