Trailer Hitches

I now own a husky 4 point hitch which does help with sway, but I was just wondering if anybody might know about a Hensley Arrow Hitch and does it perform as good as the internet states.

Absoloutly. While very expensive, they work just like pulling a fifth wheel. Worth it if you plan on lots of towing, probably not if you are a weekender.

I have a Husky hitch with 1000lb bars and sway controller. There is no way I would spend more money for anything else. Our trailer dosen't sway.

When upgrading our TT and planning a long trip to Disney from NY I looked into the Hensley and the Pro-Pride. Both are designed by the same man, both are expensive and from talking to a friend who has the Hensley he swears by it. I just couldn't swing the money to get one so I had a friend set me up with a Reese dual cam ( 1200lb bars) on my Jayco 32BHDS.
While on I-95 passing semis still pushed up a little, but when open road towing there was no sway. Some days I towed for 10 hours and the tow experience was not tiring.

I bought a Reese Straight Line Distribution Dual Cam sway control hitch with a 2.5" shank. It is rated for 1700# tongue wt. The 330rlts has a hitch wt. of 1355# from the factory.

What's wrong with your Husky, ours does a great job?

Everything that I've read states that until you use one, you can't really understand the difference. I'd sure like to have one, but I don't have that kind of money sitting around, and I don't pull very far usually (150 miles tops). If we do plan a big trip sometime in the future, I will seriously consider it though based on everyone's feedback. I have a Reese Straight Line and it does pretty well, but a 30mph crosswind is a bear on a 35' trailer.

I have a Hensley on our 19bh , the reason was with our last trailer I hit a groove in the middle of the road and the trailer started to get out of control and when we got home i started looking for a better sway control device than what we had , I looked on line and found the Hensley , when I got prices it took a few weeks to mull it over and have been very happy with the Hensley . the Propride looks like a great buy too .

My husky centerline hitch does a good job but I have had some moments when the sway was not good. If I can find the funds, the Hensley does seem like the perfect hitch to have.

I'd really like one of the PP hitches, but I'm not sure if the jacks for the WD part of the hitch would fit with my toolbox. That, and I'd have to sell a kidney.

It IS a dang nice product though, and I do hope to have one someday.

I run a valley wd hitch and am happy with it, some sway when towing with crosswinds. Other than that solid. Just got home from a 1800 mile lap. 2008 31bhds, F-350 7.3psd air bags and overloads.
