Trailer levelling

Hey guys, I have a 35 ft eagle and it was levelled for me. There is only two blocks in the front and two in the back so basically there on all four corners. My concern is that on one of the sides the tires are off the ground. Will this twist the frame because of the distance between the jack points.

I am not familiar with the eagles frame. Some rigs primarily MH and 5ers are designed to have self leveling units added to them. They have heavy frames, and can support the weight. If you are using the standard OEM stabilizers I would not be comfortable with them supporting the full load of the rig, unless they were designed for such, which I have yet to hear.

Can you post a couple of pictures of your setup?

I use a combination of the following. 2x6, 1x6, and a small piece of 1/2 in plywood to level from side to side. I also have a couple bags of Wallmart orange blocks if I need them. I would not trust the stabilizer jacks to support the weight of your trailer. The wheels should carry most of the weight even when the trailer is set up on a lot.

I do not "lift" my tires off the ground on my TT. I tried it once and was not comfortable when the tires were raised off the ground and the trailer moved slightly. It makes the unit unstable and there is no way to chock the tires that are in the air. I utilize 8"x12" rubber pads that I made from a horse stall mat. I have about 36 of them, iirc. They are 3/4" high and are stackable. They are rubber so they do not slip or move when rolling up on them. If I need more than 3 high I will step them. Then I can still chock the tires, the weight is held by the frame and all is safe IMO.

If your leveling was done only with your stabilizer jacks you need to get something under the wheels if they are off the ground. Most stabilizer jacks are designed to have a maximum load of 500#.

If this was in response to my reply then no, I did not use the stabilizers. I utilized 2 5,000lb jacks for and aft of the wheels. Then I stabilized with the stabilizer jacks.
