Trailer tongue jack for 264BHW

Hi all, after struggling with the manual jack/un-hitching, I'd like to switch to a power jack.
I've done some searching and read up on this forum, and looked on Amazon at jacks.
The jack post on my 264BHW measures 2.184" with my digital caliper, so which is it that I need, a 2" or a 2-1/4" post jack?
I'm thinking that the 3500 lb. capacity is about right for my trailer; is an 18" jack screw length enough? I am having some difficulty un-hitching like some others were.
Any info or member's experience would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to bother you all… I found the phone number for Barker, called them, and they were most helpful. I went with the 24" lift VIP 31558 (white); from all that I've heard, I'll be happy with it. Sheeesh… that was expensive! Still, spending short money usually seems to get me short service life.
