Had a 2006 Jay Feather 29Y for 3 yrs. Primary complaint was it was too low to the ground. Any ditch or inclines made me fear ripping out the drain pipe flange. it also made use of portable dump tank extra fun as the trailer dump flange was lower than the portable tank top...had to slinky the good stuff into the tank!
Traded for White Hawk 27DSRL 2 weeks back and loved it on our first outing this past weekend. totally different living space, floor & ceiling heights, power Jack's, stabilizers and awning. Must be getting soft in my old age lol

We brought our Jay Feather model 23RLSW travel trailer in March 2017. We enjoy all the many storage compartments in this unit. We also like the gas savings when hauling this trailer with our Ford F150 5.4 liter engine.

Jayco trailer poll

We have a Jayflight 2015 RD19
Brought used, nice design, not happy with the quality, maybe a Friday or Monday build, or not a Good sit-up by the original dealer. Had Casita before (excellent quality).
Just returned from a two week trip, enjoyed out outing over 1500 miles.

We must say after many years of owning trailers that we are very disappointed in Jayco and their current owners for the quality or should I say , the lack of, in their 'SLX' line ! Cheaper and more affordable is one thing! A total lack of quality control is something else. And before the cheerleader section starts in , look and listen to what others say in their comments. This is not the Jayco we came to love and trust with several trailers and years of camping behind us ! If there's any Jayco or the 'Parent' owner trolls listening, please pay attention to our comments and those on other sites. While we looked at several newer Jayco models, we had to buy an older Jay flight to get some semblance of quality and trust in our Jayco. Sad!

2018 245RBS, made a trip to Florida for our maiden voyage, had water running out from under fridge (one of the bypass valves),by the way, location of those valves is not listed in the owners manual. bathroom door wouldn't stay latched, screen door latch didn't work right, fitting on one of the propane tanks leaked.

All this on a brand new unit, I chose Jayco because of their reputation for quality.

Good thing I have been around a while and am pretty handy.
