Traveling with the A/C running

With the generator sitting on the new cargo platform I have the option of having the A/C running while on the road.
Has anyone done this?
Pros?
Cons?

Thanks,

-Eric

A friend lost his in dash A/C in his class A, fired of the genny and the living quarters A/C until he could get the unit into a repair shop. Shouldn't be a problem ..........
