Tree fell on roof - any thoughts on how much this repair will be?

So last weekend my trailer endured anew alberta storm, during which a tree fell on the roof with a branch going right through the rubber and plywood, and about 10 holes in the rubber roof. Water leaked into the trailer at 3 different points, and there is some damage to the sidewall where the tree struck.

Cool Rubber roof

All I know is the rubber membrane to replace the roof on a 30'x9' trailer is around $800. That is just the roll of rubber roof material, no labor, no glue, no seals, no vent covers, no seal tape, no seam caulk.

I could do my own but you may not want to tackle a job like that, my guess is around $2,500.

I priced the spray on roof for my trailer, it was $4,500.

Yeah but at that that is still just the roof it doesn't include interior water damage and possible structural damage to roof , sides and awning

Not good, hopefully you have it tarped. Good Chace they will total it. A freind has a seasonal site last weekend a half dozen had trees in side, and so did alot of screen porches. He has had two trees inside his seasonal over the years, each time with the same result, totalled.

Insurance company will most likely total it. With that much water intrusion, you never know what's going to rot or cause black mold and such.

Oh wow ,that really sucks. At this point I would want the insurance company to consider it totaled. Water is a campers enemy and once it is inside it just wrecks everything it touches. And with the structural damage you have. They will never probably get it right. That is a new trailer. You should not have to worry about if its fixed right. If they do wanna fix it. Get it done and sell it. Of course disclose what happened and it was fixed. Good luck, sorry that happened.

I had a felled tree branch puncture my rubber roof membrane back in 2008. I repaired it with Eternabond. It's still on there today. However, your amount of damage looks more like an insurance claim.
