TT Tires: GY Endurance or Maxxis Load Range E

Discount Tire has a sale through Sat (2/18). $100 off set of 4 their 'best' tires and TT tires are included.
My 6-bolt T02 aluminum rims are good to 80psi (found that posted on this site) so I'll move up in quality and weight from current Ranier Load Range D.

I haven't found anything negative about the new Goodyear Endurance tires. Usually I don't mind being an 'early adopter', but I feel a bit nervous doing that with tires. I know Jayco has started using them. Has anyone seen/heard/had a problem with Endurance tires?

I searched the web trying to find a review on the Endurance tire and came up empty. I doubt the Endurance tires have been on the road long enough to even start to have a reputation. Maxxis have a proven track record. The 5th wheel I looked at yesterday had them and I asked the salesman about their durability. He wasn't aware of any failures. Tough decision Sherm.

I just installed Maxxis and they sure look pretty especially the metal valve stems.

Are the Goodyear tires in question even available except through Jayco on new units? I searched and found nothing.

I have been looking to replace the stock tires on my trailer and considered the endurance.

They are available to order but not in stock at the tire shops close to me, at least in the size I require..... Discount tire says they can have them in 2 days.

I am reluctant to purchase them with no track record to speak of. I may go with something more proven and buy the Goodyear Endurance next time around if it has good reviews at that time.

I might have tried them but the Carlisle Radial Trail HDs seem to be getting good reviews so I went with them. My last set of Marathons, some years ago, left me stranded.

Thank you oldmanAZ. I just left Discount Tire in Henderson NV and Friday they will complete my order for a set of Carlisles (Presidents Day Sale). Same size but they are load range E so that is a step up. $498 but will get a $100 gift card plus a $60 gift card (for getting and using their Discount Tire card - no interest and I can just pay the tires off anyway so that was a no brainer). AND they rotated my truck tires for me for free even though I didn't buy my truck tires from them.

Ordered my 4 GY Endurance tires this morning from Discount Tire. $100 rebate on tires and $60 rebate for using a Discount Tire Visa. I added on the road hazard and they'll install metal stems for $0.

Tires should be in town on the 27th. A bit longer than I expected, but not a problem for me.

It's a new tire and I'm a little nervous. I did buy Firestone 500 tires 'back in the day' and put MANY miles on them without a problem.
On the bright side of the new Endurance tires: There won't be any old date codes.
