Tv mount

2018 27bhs, I got the trailer without the tv option as I have one that's the same size. Will any universal tv mount be okay? There is no studs behind the entertainment center, will that be strong enough?

We have a 2017 27bhs and the TV area has a mirror on the back side and swivels so the TV can be turned to the front bunk. The mount also has an arm so the TV can be pulled out and viewed better from the sofa. The mount has a magnetic catch to hold it in place while in transit.

It isn't home right now so i can't look to see how it is mounted.

I would think you would at least want a TV mount intended for RVs.

No it will not be ok. You need to mount to a wall with board inside the wall. Jayco puts a sticker on the wall telling you were to wall mount a tv like they do in the bedroom of most of there units.

I recently added my own TV to the trailer. I used a RV designed mount that I got off amazon which swivels/telescopes and then locks into position flush with the wall for travel. It MUST go into the approved spot marked with the sticker. The board behind there is actually larger than the sticker says, but verify with a stud finder to see where yours actually is.

this

This is more of a entertainment system and the wall swivels around. I didn't see any stickers on where to mount. If anyone has the same model, plz take a pic.

27BHS. Don't know the mount brand. It's whatever our dealer had in stock at the time. Holding up a 39" Vizio.
