For example, if you'll be sitting 10 feet away from your television, that's 120 inches. This gives you a minimum TV screen size of 40 inches and a maximum screen size of 80 inches.

This works fine for at home, but the OP is asking about TV size for a Jayco 22 FB. In a relatively small TT like a 22fb, you are limited by two things:
1. Wall space on which to physically mount the TV; and
2. Viewing distance from TV.
Dinette Area: A 22 FB has about 22 inches of space between the cabinet and the bathroom door. (See WWT's photo in response above). I can't argue with WWT's 26 inch TV in that space, but after checking the dimensions online, it seems most 26 inch TVs will not fit in 22 inches of wall space. Probably more like a 22 inch (measured diagonally) TV for that space. The farthest viewing distance (TV to couch) is about 10 feet.
Bedroom area: The wall with the TV mount is 36 inches wide. This means that the biggest you can go is around a 40 inch TV (measured diagonally) in that space, but that would be a tight fit. Remember, the 40 inches is just the actual screen measured diagonally - you must also include the frame width, which is usually about 1 or 1.5 inches on each side. A 40 inch Samsung is actually 36.5 inches in total width, and therefore would NOT fit on that wall. The farthest viewing distance (TV to front of bed) is about 7 feet.
I don't have a TV mount suggestion for you, as we have not put a TV in our TT.
