TV sound through Stereo

Hello all, I have a 2015 RETS338 and would like to run TV sound through my stereo (Stock). When AC kicks on it makes TV inaudible. I would have thought this would have came in this way.

I just ran a cable from the headphone out jack on the TV to the AV line in on the IRV unit and then selected the correct mode on the IRV. That was simplest solution for us rather than running more cables behind everything.

What type of cable did you use? Was it just a typical accessory cord like iPhone to a vehicle radio?

I ran a RCA cable from the TV out to the stereo aux and it worked like a charm.

On mine the RCA cable was there, but the red and white wires on the TV were plugged into the audio in. Switched them to audio out and put the stereo on AUX 1 IN. The TV sound now works through the stereo.

on our 33rlds all we do is put tv on, turn on the radio, and hit aux 1 on the radio and the sound comes thru the stereo speakers.

one thing I forgot to mentioned is that to control the volume you have to use the radio remote not the tv remote.

I had the three wire RCA cable in place sending video out from the DVD player into the TV. ( low def )

Bought and installed a HDMI to get high def video out to the TV and used two of the RCA cables to loop audio from TV back to aux 1 input.

2015 bhs

The dealer told me it was not possible to run the TV signal through the IRV. I found in the TV settings (Jensen tv) that if you set the audio to external speakers, then set the output signal to fixed (instead of variable) that the sound did in fact work. No new wires to hook up.
