Two open ended hoses on underside of 33rlds

On my 2015 jay flight 33rlds there are 2 open ended braded
Hoses just below my furnace comming through the
Floor on the outside of the trailer. I càn't seem to see
What they are used for. I can't trace them
On the inside & there doesn't see to be vàlves
Hooked up to them. I was wondering if
They are overflow hoses for the fresh and gray
Water tanks. Tks for the replies

If I had to guess I would say they are the fresh water tank overflows. Gray tanks don't have overflows.

When you fill your fresh water tanks you should see water coming out of them when the tanks are full. Many people put ballcock valves to shut them off when going down the road to prevent water from coming out of them. Remember to open them back up when using the water in the fresh water tanks so the two tanks can equalize. It is my understanding from another member that both these lines are hooked up side by side into the second fresh water tank. The first tank is vented through a vent line that comes out where the fill is. I have no idea why there are two overflows on the second tank. Maybe Jayco didn't want water squirting back at you at the fill inlet when the tanks are full. That is my best guess. I am sure many of us have experienced getting wet this way.

No the low point drains are not flex and have petcock valves on them. What he is talking about are the flex tubes that are the overflow drains. Not sure which models have them but the models with two freshwater tanks do.

mine do not have valves outside either. they are in behind a panel in the bathroom vanity

That would be correct. These are tubes that hang down perpendicular to the trailer bottom, about 6 in long. Low point drains run parallel with valves. My previous trailer, a Flagstaff, only vented the fresh tank through the little vent located by the gravity fill.

I was just making a suggestion. perhaps and likely they are overflows for his fresh tanks but my 'LOW POINT drains look exactly like my fresh water overflow on my 2014 Jay feather Ultra light. They drop straight down and have no visible exterior valves. they are INSIDE in behind a panel you have to remove in the vanity

not all trailers are the same

This is my first Jayco product and it was silly of me to assume that they all had the same draining system in all their TT lines. My Flagstaff had the low point valves under the bathroom vanity and had a red/blue lines protruding from the bottom. I stand corrected.

You are right nbhybrid, not all are the same. Sometimes not even the same model. But with the newer bigger Jayco TTs like the 33 rlds the overflows are twin open ended flex hoses hanging down. I have an Eagle 338 rlts and it has the same freshwater tank configuration as the 33 rlds. I found out what they were the first time I filled my fresh water tank. From the factory, they have no valves. They are open to the outside all the time which I don't like. That is one reason why I put a ballcock valve on both of them.

I had same experience on mine they are overflow lines

My overflows look just like my LP drains as well, just like nbhybrid says. Only difference is location and angle. The FW overflow run kind of parallel with the frame and hang loose. The LP drains come straight down. Both locations are marked with a "Low Point Drain" sticker. The valves for the LP drains are located immediately above in the vanity cabinet. I traced, routed and identified all these hoses the first day I owned the trailer.

When I was welding my new mid mount stabilizers on Wednesday I noticed the same thing. Two white tubes, (pex) hanging between the axles. I assumed they were some type of over flow. I didn't even know I had two fresh water tanks until last week.

On my 33RLDS the two lines hanging down close to the axles are the fresh water tanks overflow lines.

Our 33 RLDS losses 1/3 of our water through those hoses with the siphon effect. I recommend extending them and installing caps so you can stop the flow when your tanks are full if you need/want all your water.
