two-way switch labeled conv/light
I have an 86 Jaycondor 34 ft. camper. We have now restored it to its former glory, cleaned it up, have everything working flawlessly, and have figured out how everything in it works and how to operate all.
However, I am baffled by one of the switches by the living room entry door on the outer wall labeled CONV on the top setting and LIGHT on the bottom setting.
Other light switches in this same area are CEIL which turns on our bar lights and grab bar assist light. Then the PATIO switch which is obvious. Then the NITE switch which are the runner lights throughout the camper at floor level. I can't see that putting the CONV switch in the CONV position does anything except maybe a very slight dimming of the lights.
I thought maybe it was something to do with the converter which seems obvious, but it's located nowhere near it as they usually are, and it is only a two way with no BATT or OFF positions.
This is the last thing I need to learn about this newly acquired travel trailer. So if anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
