Under Mount Spare Tire

2015 Jayco Jayflight 23RB. I have the under mount spare. There is a female connection sticking out for a wrench to go into to lower the spare.

I have 2 wrenches with the trailer. One, the biggest, fits the stabilizer jacks. The other one fits nothing, they are both female socket types.

The one that fits nothing seems to be the same size as the connection sticking out to lower the tire. I don't know if I just got the wrong wrench or if there's a double sided male adaptor I don't have that goes in between them. Thought I'd ask here before I called the dealer.

Found this out checking things out before I took off somewhere, glad I found it before I left.

No delete option I could find, so no way of hiding that I'm an idiot.

The stabilizer jack handle fits on the OUTSIDE of the spare lowering rod.

So I can lower the spare.

Still don't know what the other handle is for that I can't find anything to fit.

One of them will fit the top of your electric jack. Take the rubber plug out of the top and there you are.

The other one is probably for the manual crank option for the tongue jack. Ours has a rubber plug on the top of the jack, and underneath is a bolt which fits the smaller handle. We've never had to use it, but I'm guessing that's what it's for.

Jayco supplied a handle for the stabilizers and for manual override of the tongue jack.

No wrench for the lug nuts. No jack for changing a tire.

Turns out the lug nuts are the same size as the spare tire winch. Isn't that just so convenient?
