Updating my '05 25RKS

I have had my 25RKS for one season and I'm looking to do some light remodeling.
Here are a few of my plans:

• New hardware for all the cupboards (east change-out).
• New, more durable, floor heat vents as a couple have cracked.
• New interior light fixtures to replace the dated brass look. Two wall lights and one ceiling light. I am looking to use standard fixtures from Lowe's/Home Depot with 12V bulbs. I am debating on going LED as well.
• Getting rid of the fabric valances. The valance surrounding the window by the dinette actually takes away from some seating space... it's a bit of an odd design.
• Updating the wallpaper/painting
• Installing laminate floors (one of the last reno's)

This all sounds like a great project! For the lights though, I'd suggest converting to LED. They may cost a bit more, but will probably last a lot longer and use very little energy. Just my .02 cents.

I have a bag of 10 LED's from a buddy who has a Bounder and bought the same kind I did, but his uses a 1157 type mount - so need to resell them. I can vouch for them and its one of the best things we did to our '07 TT, the light is bright and uses little battery, little heat too. I even installed in the outside light, they are all the same except for the brass light thingy, we don't use that.

You may want to check out vinyl plank flooring, I was going to go laminate, but between the thin venier of wood to the suspect engineered wood underneath (particle board in many cases) I didn't want swelling with water contact and needed durability. I just bought some at lowes and admit I have not installed yet but I'm going to very soon.

The shaw vinyl plank is waterproof and installs pretty easy, although I'm going to glue it rather than float it, I don't trust floating and don't like floor moving at all underfoot.

I will say the boxes are rather heavy, I hope it doesn't add too much weight but looks good.

Thank you! It's a vinyl sheet that's self adhesive. I think we did the whole trailer under $100. The sheets can be scored and snapped and they can just go over top of your existing linoleum. They are also water resistant
I had read mostly good reviews about this product, but some said that corners sometimes popped up. We just purchased some extra, stronger glue for spots that may give us trouble - so far it has been through the extreme of temperatures and it's holding up great!
