Used a "Swiffer" to wash the trailer.

The trailer needed a bath and for a variety of reasons I didn't feel like dragging it out of storage. So.... I saw the Swiffer and thought " why not?" It worked. Not the quickest or the most precise but it definitely cleaned it right up. By using both sides of the pads, I was able to complete the job with about a dozen pads. For the nooks and crannies and white plastic fittings I used a "Mr Clean magic eraser". The Swiffer handle allowed me to reach the top of the sides without a ladder and swivels. Something to consider.

Thats a good solution for the campgrounds that do not allow pail and water. I just got back from a 30 day trip out west and was dying to wash my trailer. Could have given this a try.

I use the swifter as well to clean the outside of trailer if needed. But instead of the swifter clothes I just attach a regular Microfibre Cloth, just get it damp and it cleans well. Then I can just throw in my laundry and reuse the next trip. Also use the swifter/clothes to clean floor and dry ones on the swifter to pull leaves and debris off the tent ends of my hybrid.

I may give that a try this week. Thanks for the suggestion.

Me too. I have no water/power at the storage facility and this may be a solution for a quick clean.

I use a swifter but only for my soft floor. It's a 5/8 " foam interlocking system 2'x2' squares. It's soft, quiet and warmer to the touch and I installed it for the "Tunce", her comfort comes first! My 36" slide glides over the top of it with no problem. The stairs are for her and the grand kids and it's a non slip floor.

Dumb question, but any issues with the Swiffers affecting the wax or gloss of the trailer? I love the idea and convenience factor.
