Vacuum for TT

I am looking to buy a smaller vacuum for our new TT, and am wondering if anyone has a preference on a small storable unit that works for the hard floor as well as the carpet around our bed. We have a small one we use for our kitchen to do quick pickups but it does not work well on carpet.

I bought a Bissell at WalMart for about $30 that stores well in my closet. Is an upright bagless with beater bar. Works fine for me.

We've got a Bissel upright with a beater bar too. It's nice not having to worry about replacing bags, just empty out the dirt cup. The upolstery brush and crevice tool attachments come in handy too.

The bissle was what I was looking at, so I guess barring anything unexpectedly being posted that will be the way I go.

With six years of living in our trailers for the winter months and then some we are on our third vacume cleaner. The first one just had a hose, the second one was just a carpet/floor beater with a built in filter. The one that makes the wife happy is an upright beater with a hose. It stands up in the closet. Bissle found at Wally World.

Just don't get a Kirby. That will put you over on payload! :hihi:

I have a Bissel from Walmart. Works great. I think I paid around $30.

I got a Bissel stick (dust buster on wheels) $20.00 at Wal-mart.... biggest "problem" with it is every time I move the power cord I have to empty the dust cup...
Vacuuming, dishes, laundry shouldn't I have a maid for all of that?

I bought a Electrolux stick broom. It is a 12volt rechargeable vacuum with a power brush. Got it from Costco for 99 dollars. It's a powerful little sucker and has a detachable hand unit too. Have several friends that have bought them after seeing mine. Trust me. It works great. Somewhat quieter than others I tested. It had more suction too. No bags. It stands up in the recharger,in a corner of the trailer.
