valve direction ?

I bought a jay flight 19bh, and the black tank is showing 2/3 full
on guage.the vlaves seem fairly loose , so i am just wondering
are they clockwise to close before I pull the cap off and hook
up sewer line .also how much waste could be in line from
cap to valve
thanks for any help

Re: valve direction ?

I have a jayco jay flight 28bhs and have same problem. We used it very lightly and it said 2/3 full and then by the second night said full we didn't use it but 10 times between the three of us. I dumped today and not much came out. I was not able to use the black tank flush at this campground.

I called my dealer just now when I got home and they told me to fill it up with clean water from inside through toilet till full then dump. They said most likely there is toilet paper or something caught on the sensors. I have not done this yet but will post back when I run my black water flush and fill tank with water and dump.

I came here to ask for advice and was shocked to see your post as the first new post. As for the valves mine must be different because I pull my valves to open.

The sensors in the tanks are notorious for incorrect readings. I also have a black tank flush and no matter how long/often I use it my black water tank shows 1/2 or 3/4 full. So what I do is look down the toilet as I flush and if I can see the waste water level I then dump the black tank.
