Very little flow from outside shower

2015 19RD with an outside shower ...... attempted use the outside shower this season, and all we got was a 'dribble'. (I'm an old man and I recognize a dribble when I see it) .... Yes, we have a flow reducer for when in the park, so we tried it boondocking in the desert using the trailers water pump .... same dribble. Water pressure inside the trailer shower isn't great, but usable.. Outside, not so much. Any suggestions .............. besides dropping some "Flowmax" in the water tank..

Flowmax won't work but Avodart will do the trick and I should know. Just one a day and your good to go so to speak.

The valve inside the shower head could be broken or have come unscrewed. Same thing happened to mine and I had to take apart the shower head and reassemble the valve assembly.

... kinda what Crabman is saying. Disconnect it where you can and work outward from the last good flow.

If I'm allowed a comment on the OP's flow statement: I was in a public restroom some years ago and my son was also at one of the wall mounted urinals. I told him there was a time I was worried about the stream cracking the porcelain, now I'm happy to get it over the edge. (Is this too much information for an RV site?)

Just so you don't miss the obvious - my outside shower has a flow cutoff (similar to inside shower head) to conserve water without having to change the control valves and temperature. Have you checked to make sure this cutoff is all the way open?? I have more and more grey hair moments when I overlook obvious things like this!!

Have you checked the screen on the faucet and shower outlets to see if they are plugged. When my unit was new, after winterizing by blowing out the lines, I had to clean my sink rinsers. Now I always remove the rinsers when I blow out the lines.

I had the same problem with the outside shower on my 198RD. I took the shower head off and it had some plastic debris in it, so I cleaned it out then let it soak over night in vinegar. It flows a lot better now.

I posted a thread about the same thing on my eagle. I am going to try the inside shower outside. That I know is good. If it works I wanna buy one of those oxygenator shower heads for inside. Maybe two one for outside, they are suppose to give you more pressure . Anyone use that style shower head.

I ordered my Oxygenics shower head off ebay, but was also told they are sold in Home Depot and Lowes. It definitely was worth the price.

Ottor, I had the same problem with my travel trailer a few months ago. I found out the screens on the pressure regulator and the shower head were both full of debris. Once I cleared them out, I had pressure back. Something to check into.
