Wanna go camping.

UUUGGG, It is snowing again here in NY. All us new camper owners are going crazy. What are you guys doing to make this winter go by. I am so glad I got my subscription to trailer life. Think I am going to
have to go to camping world this weekend just to look.

I just surf the JaycoOwner's Forum.

I think it might be 4th of July before we lose this snow.

Yep, surf the Forum for some interesting posts or troubleshooting needs.
Plan, plan and plan some more.
By this time last year, we had some 80 degree days. This winter seems to be hanging around too long.
In less than a month, we'll be heading South and then West to the coast, so one way or another things are going to change here lol
I enjoy the folks here. Hope to keep in touch on our 73 day trip.

Best regards,
Doug

Even this far north the weatherman said it was a record temperature this day last year, 75 degrees.

In answer to your question, I have passed the winter having a broken pelvis and then lung surgery to remove a tumor, all while looking out the window at the 5er and dreaming of Spring. My recovery period from these inconveniences will be just about over when the snow is gone and we can camp again. As for our camping dog, well, she heads toward the camper every time we take her for a walk, and really sulks when we don't go in. Oh well . . . . .

tinlizzie23,
I hope your recovery continues well and Spring comes soon for you.
You guys will be able to take the dog and head out in the 5er before you know it.
In our thoughts and prayers.

Hope all is well with you Tinlizzie. I am still going nuts my camper is still covered next to the house and it has snow on it again. Come on spring, go away winter. I to enjoy reading all the forums on this site and learning new stuff. Still trying to figure in my head where all our gear will go since we lost the back storage area to the kitchen. I think (hope) it was worth it. Do you guys that have the outside kitchen like it. Think more stuff will have to be carried in the superduty like the chairs. Once my ground drys up and it warms up can move my camper away from my house for alittle while so I can open her up to fill it. I did not realize how much stuff we keep in the camper untill we had to empty it. Had a place for everything in the old camper now finding new spots will be fun in the new one. I also been checking out other forums like the Keystone forum since my buddy has a new Hornet. Are there any other web sites you guys reccomend and do you cruze other brand sites. Well Tinlizzie again hope you are recovering well

RVnet is probably the largest RV related forum out there with over 200,000 members and lots of resources and archives to draw from covering every facet of RVing and then some. But the atmosphere is somewhat different there then here on this smaller forum where nearly everyone owns the same brand.

We just got rid of our snow last week and then the temps took a plunge. And, the forecasters are saying 3-5 inches of snow for us over the weekend. We all now know that Punxsutawney Phil is a liar!

WE WANT TO GO CAMPING but can't de-winterize because it gets down into the teens and 20's at night. ARRRGH!
