I have an appointment to take our new 26RLS in next week for the shake down items we found on the first trip. We only
found some minor items other than the brakes are supposed to be adjusted by a qualified technician. Any brake shop should have a qualified technician.
My question is: Will it void my warranty if I fell to take it in to the dealer? I'm afraid it will come back in worse shape than it is now, also I don't know how long it will take to do the work.
I don't see how not taking it in can void your warranty.

I'm pretty certain that you don't need to take it to the dealer. So long as you can prove that the work was done by someone "qualified" Jayco should be okay with it.

As long as you are going to pay a shop to adjust your brakes I dont see a problem to me it would be like adjusting them yourself. But I dont think Jayco will pay for it unless you get it aproved up front or take it back to a Jayco dealer.
I'm sure the law is the same as a car , as long as you can prove it was done , receipt , work order it's covered . If you buy a new car and do the oil changes yourself , and have receipts to prove it your o.k. .
