water bypass valve

Hello

I just went out to the trailer and attempted to take the valve off.
Well You have to be a person who is small enough to get in the cupboard under the sink.
And of course all the fastener are turned around so you cannot get them.
The parts guy at the dealership said that you can take the fastener off with a flat head screw driver.
Maybe on his planet!
I could not even work under the sink with both hand. I was afraid I would get stuck under there.
You have to lay on your back and some how get turned inside the cupboard
and work up around the drain pipe with one hand.
The only thing I manage to do is put some scrapes on my arm trying to get both arms inside the cupboard.
So Tomorrow I will call a repair shop out by the trailer and see what he will charge me.
Anyone have any ideas?

Replace the whole area of the pipes and taps.....I did mine in one piece that I made. It was far easier to cut out the whole area and replace in one piece.

HI
I have the day off from work, going to drop The dog off for a bath,( Basset Hound ) will go to the RV place at some point to day. I know they have a Kit you can use. I will see how to remove the fastener there.
I have extended warranty on the trailer so I will see what my deductible is on it.

Good idea...., and also an opportunity to up-grade the OEM valves that are IMO an accident waiting to happen.

My extended warranty will cover the valve
Deducible is $ 50 if I take it to the dealer where I brought it.
