water dripping from underneath

2015 jay flight 28 bhbe noticed this weekend water dripping from white tubes under the camper. Don't have any water in the fresh water tank. Does the gray tank have an overflow?

Has the weather warmed up recently? Maybe some expansion of water causing it. Is it coming out of the frresh water tank overflow or one of the low point drain tubes?
Don't think the grey tanks have any overflow.

Where are the tubes? Over the axles (FW tank overflow). Or near the rear (lowpoint drain). I'm guessing it is your overflow. Your low point drains should drip unless you have the valves on them open.

It was the front of the axles. I have 2 white tubes that hang down in front of the low point drain and beside of the fresh water tank. I have never put water in the fresh water tank. Hooked up to city water. Fresh water tank shouldn't overflow if I have never added water, right?

water dripping from underneath

No over flows on grey tanks, except the shower floor! When I got my new rig home a few years ago, I found the dealer had filled the FW tanks and I hauled it all the way home, only to water my grass with it. A full tank will drain a little when full.

Otherwise, I don';t have a clue.

My low point drains will leak sometimes I just put a little dish soap on the o ring to lube it up and seal it.

It sounds like the lowpoint drains to me, make sure the valves are closed and the caps are tight

On my 27BH the two tubes are overflows from the FW tank. I know as I have overfilled it about every time I've done it. It will POUR out of there until getting down to the max level. Try checking level on the gauge for FW and also using the low point drain to drain it. Towing with it full will add a ton of weight .

Perhaps it also could be the valve that switches between pressure hookup and the pump system could be leaking and letting water flow past it, then filling the tank, then leaking out. I was told by a long time TT guy to get a pressure regulator or risk blowing out my plumbing. If you are having the valve leak, perhaps pressure is too high?

overflow tubes

Are the two white overflow tubes exposed to the outside or do they run under the belly? Between the trailer and the black under body. We overfilled and discovered water running out from under the trailer where the spare tire attaches and other little holes as well. After removing a few bolts on one side we saw the two white tubes about where the low drain valve is but not exposed to the outside. Thank you

Properly designed and installed gray tanks and black tanks have no intentional overflow outlet.

I can be dense sometimes.

Is the water coming down the inside of the tubing, or is it following down the outside?

The reason I ask.

The way a travel trailer is built it is very easy for water to be leaking in one place in the trailer only to travel along supports, the belly cloth, soak the insulation, etc. to finally exit somewhere else.

If the water (liquid?) is following down the outside of the tubes then you could still have a problem some distance away. It may not be associated with the system the tubes are connected to.

If you just picked up a new unit from the dealer, normally the fresh water tank is full when you leave. I would suspect some overflow from that. You might want to open the drains for your fresh water tank and see what happens.

Our Jay Flight leaked below on our first camping trip. It's a 2015. We took it back to the dealer and they repaired. Apparently something had come loose (it was leaking from sewage and fresh water tanks). They tightened and sealed and we haven't had a problem since Thanks, Jenn.

Fresh water tank overflow

On this new unit, we have two freshwater tanks. When we dropped the "belly" membrane to see where the water was coming from, we found both overflow lines from the tanks were emptying inside the membrane rather than having been routed thru the membrane to the outside. The insulation below the tanks was totally saturated. Sounds like a manufacturing problem, YA THINK?

It was the low point drains. Pulled the t valves and put some plumbers grease on the o rings stopped the leak.
