I assume I have it then, you allow the AF and bleach to run through your water heater?

The conventional wisdom is to not allow AF or bleach through the heater. The two valves were a surprise to me on my new 267BH as well. Usually the valve handle will give you an idea of how the water is flowing.

I believe the point of the bypass valve it to bypass having AF and bleach go into the water heater. Wouldn't be a bad idea to let clean water into water heater and flush out thru hot water heater drain.

At the water pump you have one multi valve for antifreeze with clean tube and normal operations?

Many mfg's have gone to a different configuration: 2 - 3way valves instead of 3 - 2 way valves.
They both do the same thing.
