Water pump and 30A fuse

Can anyone tell me which is the off position on the water pump switch. It's a KIB systems monitor that toggles left and right, but it's not marked on/off. My battery is dead so there is no try it and find out. Also what is this 30A fuse connected to the battery used for. Is this main fuse, break away, what?

Usually switch up is on and switch down is off, however never know without a live battery or shore power for the switch to light up.

The 30amp fuse is either for the batteries connection to the camper or if you have an electric jack it would also have a 30amp fuse near the battery. Best thing is to follow the cable the fuse is on and see where it goes.

Thanks guys. My first camper of any sort and I'm a little lost. The battery was dead when I got home from the dealer, and I'm not sure why. It could have already been dead as it had been shown at a memorial day sale all weekend. My concerns are that I killed it by pulling the break-away pin, (I know now is a no no), or that something was left on. But I'm wondering if the 12v system would still run without that fuse inserted at the battery. (there was not one inserted from the dealer)

You will need the 30amp fuse for the twelve volt system unless you are on shore power. The battery should not be dead with the fuse pulled. We pull the fuse when we store ours.

That's what I was thinking. Does anyone know if the break away protection will still activate without that fuse? Either the dealer gave me a dead battery, or it died when the break away pin was pulled overnight.

Not sure of the brand of mine, but it looks similar to yours. Mine is off when it is in the position yours is in the picture. Also, even with a dead battery, if you hook your connector to your truck it should get juice from it to at least test the switch.
As far as the fuse, on mine it kills everything inside the camper when I pull it. The radio still keeps the stations on memory, but not the time.

My truck isn't currently set up to deliver 12v power to the 7 pin plug, but that will be coming soon. Battery is on the charger now so its just a matter of time.
