Water regulator

Have a water pressure regulator on order and a Line water filter. Do I place the water regulator on the trailer before the filter or the filter on the trailer and the regulator on the water hose?

Thanks

Personal preference.

Either way has benefits. On my setup the regulator is attached to a Y adapter that goes right on the faucet. I can attach a hose or a pressure gauge on the other side. The filter is in between the reg. and the camper water input.

There are different opinions but I have a few hoses burst from high pressure and that is my opinion.

Water filter before regulator. That way if anything is in water, filter will catch it.

I have adjustable regulator with gage. I hook it to faucet, then hose, and I attach filter to trailer inlet. I also got a right angle elbow to put between filter and trailer so the filter isn't sticking out from side of TT but lies flat against it.

I always put my pressure regulator right on the faucet followed by the hose and then filter. Where I am right now we have periods of pressure in the 80-85psi range and a hose lying on the ground in the hot sun with that kind of pressure isn't going to last forever.

As Ed said regulator on the end of the tap.. this also then protects your hose and water filter from over pressure
