Had the dealer install the Equalizer 10K on my F150 for pulling the X23B. He used the standard hitch ball and it didn't have enough clearance. By the Tim I got home, the hitch head had contacted the front of the trailer and sheared a safety chain link. I installed a high rise hitch ball to correct the issue. DON'T TRUST YOUR DEALER to install it correctly! Always educate yourself and check things out for yourself.

It should be noted even when a RV dealer installs/adjusts a new WDH correctly, he is sending your TV/TT combo of the dealer lot under "unloaded" conditions...., the WDH will have to be re-adjusted under "loaded" conditions to optimize the functionality of the WDH.

I have the Andersen, and it seems to work well. Then again I'm pulling a 6k lb trailer with an f250 diesel so it was borderline if I even needed it.

I had a 1000# Equal-i-zer with my 2004 27' Sunnybrook. When I got my 2008 Eagle 328RLS, I needed a heavier system. I liked the way that the Equal-i-zer controlled sway, but I was not comfortable with the stiffness of the bars when moving to/from the driveway from/to the street. My driveway slope is 12% and the Equal-i-zer bars are very stiff and don't deflect much and I was concerned about the amount of stress put on the A frame. The rear truck suspension would really unload. I always hitched on the ball, pulled onto the street and then hooked up the bars. Reversed that when arriving home.
I got a 1200# Dual Cam system for my Eagle. The bars are significantly less stiff. They deflect more when hitched and loaded and are able to bend more when exiting/entering the driveway. The truck rear unloads much less. I like that part much better.
The Equil-i-zer is easier to set up and does not require holes to be drilled in the trailer frame. I like the Dual Cam better for the driveway situation and ease of loading the spring bars if not able to jack up the tongue high enough. The Equil-i-zer might have a very slightly better control of sway, especially if the Dual Cam is not set up perfectly.
I'm now using the Dual Cam for my new White Hawk 24RKS. I still have the 1200# bars, but might trade for the 800# bars. I need to check the ball weight when fully loaded. It was 530# at the dealer with only battery and full propane, but with perhaps 15 gal of water in the rear fresh water tank. I tow with no water, so I'm guessing that I'll be around 700# on the ball when ready to go.

Equalizer and couldn't be happier as we are a tad close on our weight limits. We asked many, many questions of the factory before making our choice. They were very helpful.

Eaz-Lift is what I have. It works fine for me. The chains are kind of pain to deal with when the RV is not on level ground and I am hitching up. It does the job though so I have no plans to spend any money changing it for something else.

I run with the Andersen hitch. TV is '07 Chev Silverado 3500HD XC LB SRW. TT is a 2015 28BHBE smooth wall. The setup tows very smooth, but all weight removed from front axle is not returned to it.

I have one from harbor freight. Laid side by side with my SIL's equalizer they are identical. I'm sure out of the same China factory. Just different decals.

We use a "Draw-Tite" with 12,000 lb. round bars. When I purchased it years ago the dealer said "You don't need that much hitch" I said "Yes you are right but, I won't have to upgrade it if I change trailers" That and the friction sway control have worked well for us.

Reese 1200 lbs. Heavy Duty Round Bar WD Hitch. We used to use a friction sway controller as well, but after we got a full sized truck we don't need the sway controller anymore. Our trailer is 20' foot long and weighs less then 6000 lbs. wet.
