Weird fresh water tank issue
We bought our 2009 32bhds from a family who lived near the snow. For some reason they cut a whole in the underbelly of the trailer and there are 2 draIn lines sticking out from the underbelly by 2-3 "
Very strange since it is like 1' from the low point drain.
My guess is they were having freeze issues and this was the soluTion.
My guess is to be able to use the tank I just need to couple the 2 hoses.
They used some sort of expandable sealer to seal the hoses and the underbelly so that doesn't seem to be a concern.
Can anyone enlighten me?

How about the possibility that they added another tank. This required another drain option.
You didn't mention if you tested to see if the two lines were related to one another. Another possibility would be a recirc line where they could keep the lines from freezing by running warm water thru them using a pump on a timer. That's getting kinda fancy but just the same not a bad idea.

Only way to really know is to drop the bottom panel and look up in there and see what has been done.
Are you sure it did did not come that way?

My 322FKS '08 also has two overflow lines from the freshwater tank. This is normal.

I did a mod for the overflow and it can be seen on this Link from a little while back. If you need better photos I can get them.

What I forgot to mention is that the the added drains are wide open when I tried to fill the fresh water tank and I do not see a valve for closing them off

I'm with Dalenoel,
I believe i have these lines as well. When you are filling the water tank, and it goes past full, these lines evacuate the extra water....

OK I give then
I admit I am still getting used to the TT thing but......
The guage reads empty on for the fresh water tank and I had no water at my faucets prior to filling this tank.
What the heck am I doing wrong?
Is there a valve I need to close?
The trailer manual was not very specific about when I tried to figure it out by reading the manual.

Those tubes in your photo will be the overflow. They originate from the top of the freshwater tank, and loop down to where you see them. The drain for the FW tank looks like the attached photo. I would suggest filling the freshwater tank. If you see water coming out the low point drain (my photo), then close that drain valve. When the FW tank reaches full, you should see water coming out those overflow tubes.

Make sure you are at the right connection as well

The hose just sits inside the tank fill connection. It actually screws onto the city water connection.
