Big,
Congrats on your first rig!!!! Don't worry, we won't be to harsh on you for not buying a Jayco!!!
Important thing is you guys are happy with the model you picked, and you enjoy the heck out of it!!!
Now get it packed up and do some driveway camping the first night or two!!! That way as you think of things you need you can grab them from the house. Also, get a pad of paper and a pen/pencil to write needed items down when you're camping, possibly for the whole first season. That way you have a "grocery list" and don't forget.
We have specific kitchen utinsels, towels, grill, etc we keep in the trailer. After a trip we wash all the "trailer" laundry and it gets packed to go back in the trailer (don't store the tt at our house). Only thing we remove is clothes and food. I am even keeping bottled water in the outdoor fridge now. Makes it easier to pack and unpack with it being already somewhat stocked. Beer and pop is removed since it will get nasty. I will remove it all for winter storage though.
Any questions, just ask!!!
Enjoy the new rig!!!

Thank you so much, I was a little sorry since this is a Jayco forum, we talk about getting a Jayco but we felt in love with the Denali way before now. I have been doing a lot of searching every since we put money down to make sure we have a lot of it anyway but I know I will miss a lot of the things we need.
We are planning a short trip first around the first of September close by, we would love to camp in the drive way but we live in a gated community so they don't allow that. I will keep you guys inform.

Big,
YW!!!
One thing I just noticed is it looks like your fridge is in one of the slides, correct? If so, do some searching about how to add fans for additional cooling. As I understand it from here and over on RV.Net, fridges in a slide are not as efficient due to the venting being all in the wall vs the wall for the intake and roof for the exhaust of a non-slide mounted fridge. Some computer fans is all you need, and possibly a thermal switch for auto on/off if you so choose.
Good luck and hopefully some others with some more knowledge and experience with the fridge fan mod will chime in.

And in addition, before you add one do some checking because many are installed at the factory and no one tells you about it.

Nice rig, How does the build quality of the Denali compare to the Jayco. Roof and wall wise. The cabinets look like real wood doors. It is a SWEET looking camper. You will have to let us know how you like it and quality of the unit. Best of luck with it, its a nice camper

I got caught up in modding my rig and added one below. One day we heard a strange noise and it was the factory installed vent fan up near the top running.

My fridge is on a slide and in our 3rd season, never had an issue. Maybe if you live in Texas it may be a problem
