Wet under bedroom mattress

All, I and my wife live in our travel trailer while our house is being built. I lifted the mattress from the plywood base the other day and noticed that the wood was damp in the middle of where the mattress sits. The underside of the mattress is damp and has some mold growing. The mattress is not soaked thru to the top nor is the wood soaked thru to the underside where the storage compartment is. There is no plumbing in the mattress nor are there any leaks above or by the side. Everything but the middle bottom of the mattress and corresponding wood is dry. Any ideas as to what is causing this? I run a dehumidifier 24/7.

It is from condensation. One of the issues with TTs is that the area under the beds are all framed up and air/heat does not get under there. Often there is a pass through storage from outside, and the door does not seal tight and it is cool under there. Moisture is attracted to the lower temperature areas and condenses. Under the mattress there is no air movement so it just builds up, Best thing to do is find a way to add some ventilation, second option is to warm up that cargo hold.

Body heat condensation. My PUP did the identical thing in colder temps.

We used a heating blanket to combat it.

Yep..between the mattress and plywood deck.

And it really doesn't need to be on high either. The low setting worked for us. Guess it depends on how cold it is outside..idk.

I WAS going to drill a 3/4" hole in the plywood...dead center. But decided against it.
