What do you use for your front patio floor surface?

Brand new RVer here w/ a trailer. What do folks use/recommend for their front patio floor surface, for example under their awning? I couldn't for the life of me figure out what search terms to use for this ;*) We would like something easy to keep clean, light, and won't get waterlogged. Is that possible

Thanks, Mike

Here in Minnesota, we came across a few campgrounds that did not allow rugs or carpet piece on the grass.
What we have used at places that do allow rugs, we have old carpet pieces that we carry. This photo is rather hard to see the carpet piece, but that is what we use.

I know they are not the best to use because of rain or mud, but we just throw them away if they get to bad. You can get them from carpet stores for about $2.00 for a 4' x 3' piece or find a neighbor that is recarpeting their house.
There are other mats or rugs that you buy from places like Camping World if you want to spend that much money, such as these:

Or if you are a NASCAR fan, something like this:

This is what I use.I have about 4 or 5 pieces this size. They are indoor/outdoor carpet and I carry them rolled up in one of the pass through bins.

Darned if I can find a pic of just the patio mat we use, but it is really user friendly. We can sweep it, put a stake just about anywhere in/through it, and it sweeps or shakes out dirt easily. It folds up nicely (sorta a thick flat-ish). I wish I had the measurements, but it is stored in tt and it's raining at the moment, so I can't measure it but I would say about 6'x10' or maybe/probably bigger.. But it is probably most like the Carefree brand you can buy at CW. Only we bought it cheaper at WalMart. We found it in the RV section for $49. I noticed that they had them at just about every Super WM we've traveled to outside of California, but we actually purchased it at a regular WM (why don't they have Super WM's in Cali !

Same here. We don't see any need to upgrade though. It pulls dirt and rocks out of shoes very well.

We use the PATIO RUG from LOWES - They have several outside designs and one fits our trailer decor just fine.. Have been using ours for around five years now and although faded a bit is in great shape. Found in the GAZEBO area... Folds up nice for transport.

Since my trailer is the OFF-ROAD POPUP keeping dirt out of the inside is sometimes a chore. I found the high dollar CW Folding Grate step was best for us. It is very sturdy and I can stomp on it big time before entering the trailer... This is also perfect in the folded up position for my first ground step height. My POPUP only has two steps that fold down and the first step height is pretty far off the ground.

We use a patio rug that we purchased from camping world on sale. We have used indoor/outdoor carpet from Minard's or Lowes, but prefer the patio rug from camping world. If it gets wet, it dries rather quickly if you hang it up over a table or something like that. Also, it is easier to clean just by sweeping it with a broom. When we are ready to move, I simply fold it up and secure it with a bungee cord around each end. It is usually the last item that we pack up. I slide it into the storage compartment, Close the door, and hit the road.

ID:	10996We use a nylon patio mat as well. They are amazing, just sweep them off.. we actually use two as we have a big trailer. We bought ours at Costco for $39 each which is a great price for this item.
