What Light bulb to use
Brand new member here, I just bought my 29BHS Monday and I have a dumb question, I am going through everything and the light on the outside by the door is burned out. I figured I could just go to Autozone and pick one up. well there is about 8 different bulbs of that style to choose from. Mine has no number and can't find a number any where. Any body know the number of this bulb? or do I need to go to the camper dealer?
Thanks
Chris

Take the bad BULB with you to AUTOZONE. They should be able to give you exact replacement...

Thats what I did, but they have like 8 bulbs with different numbers that look exactly the same, the only difference is the volts and the watts

Jayco uses the cheapest Chinese bulbs they can get their hands on so that explains the no numbers on it. The bulbs at the parts store should show wattage on them. If not just google them and you should be able to get that info easy enough. Pick one that you think would be enough light. I like my outside lights dim so I would pick the lowest wattage..

Hey Chris,
If it's the porch light with the orange lens I'd bet on the 'ole 921 bulb. Do you have fixtures inside that look pretty much the same? Maybe one of those bulbs will have a number. Have you checked the owner's manual?

Mine are from 2010 from the factory. Maybe it's an old number.

Does it look like this:
If so, I think you will be safe going with the 921. It is 12 volt, 18 watt.

Yes thats the bulb. This is the info I needed. It is the orange light outside. Thanks guys, great quick response. I am a lifer here now I am sure I will have more questions as I am a life long camper, pop-ups and trailers with the parents, 11 years in a tent, 11 years in a pop up and 3 days in a trailer can't wait to take it out next weekend
