You are probably going to have to crawl under and see what is stamped on the tanks. The specs on mine claim 32.5 gal grey and black .. But looking at the actual tanks reveal that they are 38 gal.

Otherwise you will need to share with us the year and model of your trailer and hope someone else here has the same unit.

Interesting! Now I want to go look at mine! I wonder if they "down" rate the capacity in the marketing materials for some reason...?

Get the biggest portable tank you can afford/have room for.

Yes, but ... figure-out how you are going to haul and dump it too. We have a TT and no storage spaces will accommodate one ... and don't want it in the TV. Searched and found here a couple of other threads and looked at some Google images, and decided to buy a ladder chair rack for mounting ours with bungees or ratchet straps ~ going to experiment this weekend.

If you have the year and exact model, you can probably check the Jayco website and find the specs, which should be close or correct for the waste tank size.

I boondock and I have the largest Thetford model. I'll tell you it gets real heavy when full. I have had the Swivel Axle bend a couple times, it's a just a bolt. As stated think about where your going to store it and how your going to pull it. I've tried ATV and truck both are hard to go slow enough. I ended up getting a Mascerator Pump so I can leave the tote in the back of my pickup. Good luck

I just used our new 27 gallon Thetford tote for the first time last week and it was very easy to fill, transfer, and empty. We plan to strap it to the ladder when traveling. I'll post a photo after we get it mounted.

Totes work great on paved roads. Not so great on gravel. Larger tires do help. Macerators are a nice addition.
