Wheel and AC Unit Covers

Bought my first TT ever last November, a G2 32BHDS. I need a recommendation on a brand/size/type of cover for the AC unit an the wheels.

DW is very handy with a sewing machine so she made our tire covers from Sunbrella fabric remnant she found at a fabric store. It wasn't that difficult and cheaper than buying premade ones. Otherwise Camping World has them:

Make sure you measure your tire size. I like the tandem ones, easier to put on/take off. What I like about the fabric is the fact that it can breathe better than vinyl allowing for better air circulation.

I've never used an AC cover but CW has those too. Know what kind of AC you have because there are different size covers.

Otherwise the dealer you bought your G2 from probably stocks both and might give you a discount for purchasing your G2 from them. Our Jayco dealer gave us a 20% discount good for 6 months on any accessory. It won't hurt to ask.

Covering the a/c unit is a matter of opinion , just like covering the TT or installing slide out awnings.

I bought mine from this link http://www.nationaldiscountcovers.co...Covers-s/6.htm. Expedition.. I like them. Never had a problem, but must be properly installed and secured.

Hey Lou

No problems with moisture or anything? I hear mixed reviews on covering the TT. I'm swaying towards getting a cover. Gotta be cleaner when opened up.... But also worried about moisture etc

Save your money... they create more problems than they cure...
