Any tire, any size, carrying any amount of weight, for any length of travel will heat up from the obvious friction and SHOULD ALWAYS be balanced. Even a static/bubble balance would help. At speeds up to 65 mph and weighing as much as/more than the vehicle you're pulling it with ... should'nt it have the tires balanced the same as your TV. Just one mechanics point of view. Take it or leave it.
