Whitehawk 28DSBH shower drain access?

I have read a couple of threads recently in about people having some leaks in their showers that might be coming from the shower drain. In these threads they were not Whitehawks. But being the maintenance freak I am I want to be proactive rather than reactive to any potential issues.

Having said all this, is there an access panel to the shower drain in a Whitehawk 28DSBH??? If so where is it located??? I don't remember seeing one in mine, but it's covered up right now until spring so I can't go look.

Funny you should ask. I just picked up my new Whitehawk 28DSBH today. Not 100% sure if the access panel provides access to the drain or not but there is an access panel to the shower water lines located on the wall in the lower bunk bed. My unit is up in storage now so I can't run and check for you.

Yes I have seen the panel to the water lines behind the shower valve. I was wondering if there is a panel that allows you to access the drain.

Is it visible through the hot water heater bypass location, under the bottom mattress? We picked up our 2014 28DSBH last June, and I have only been in there once to winterize.
