Why tires ???
Well, I mean the protective cover for the TT tires . . I understand UV protection, but.... shouldn't tires be replaced every couple of years anyway? - Will there be UV deterioration prior to replacement?? I see lots of folks doing it, but - is it really necessary? We spend good money for our tires on our cars, but I don't' see anyone covering them up.. (?)

Most car tires are wore out by3 to 5 years. The average TT tire will still look like new after 10 years. If you are in the hot South the sun is more intense and will damage tires quickly. In Az I often see tires covered on vehicles that are not used often. I live in North Idaho and rarely cover tires but I do cover them when in Az. Harbor Freight just had a real good buy on covers.

Car tires typically wear out before rot + they are used a lot more so they don't sit and bake in the same orientation all the time. RV/TT tires spend a lot of time just sitting.
IMO trailer tires should be replaced ~5 years, many folks push it well last because the tread looks good.

Our camper tires seem to wear fast, Especially the rears for some reason. But we do rack up some miles I guess.

In 43 years of camping I've never used them. If your RV is going to be sitting in the sun for long periods they would probably be a good idea. Ours is stored in a shaded area so I've never felt it necessary to mess with them.

How to connect inverter to two 6V batteries?
I am first time owner of any TT. I just got my first TT 184BH Baja. I have two young kids. I want to run bottle warmer and other small appliances which are some where from 100 to 1100 watts. I am thinking about connecting a power inverter to battery terminals to run those appliances . I have two 6 V batters in series on my TT.
I understand the amp hour and I also understand that more amps I drain less power will be left in batters .
I just want you help to find out that is it possible to connect inverter connections to battrers which are all ready connected in series.
If yes then how I should be doing it?
Is it safe ?
I am new to all this , I am confident that experienced friends of this forum can help a new Jayco owner.
Regards

Our old starcraft sat for the whole 10 years we owned it since new and when trailering it to the dealer for trade in on our new eagle, the sales guy asked if the tires were new, I said no, they are 10 years old, kinda funny, and we have never covered them.

Tires have a life span that has no relationship to tread wear. Tires derate with time. You can protect your tires from UV but not from Ozone, they are about equal in the process of degrading the natural material (rubber) used to make tires. I do not cover my tires but I only keep them 4 years max from the DATE that is stamped on the tire.
